Associate Forensic Psychologist

Keely Perham BSc, MSc, is a Registered Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).  Keely has over 7 years experience working for HM Prison and Probation Service.  This work involves psychological risk assessment for mandatory Life Sentenced offenders and Indeterminate Sentenced offenders as directed by the Parole Board.  Regular attendance at Parole Hearings as an expert witness.  Throughout her training and career as a psychologist, Keely has worked with complex service users within an assessment and treatment capacity.  She is able to assess multiple areas of risk, need and responsivity including personality and cognitive functioning.  She has expertise in forensic risk assessment including; HCR-20v3, SARAv3, RSVP, SVR-20v2, SRP, MLG, IPDE. She is also able to assess cognitive functioning using the WAIS-IV.  Keely has worked closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategies to manage gang violence within custodial settings.  She has experience of working in a group setting and one to one with young adults and adults convicted of sexual and violent offences. In addition to this role she provides crisis management advise during crisis incidents.
