Ms Begum, BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc Forensic Psychology, has previously undertaken research into the CSI effect and investigative interviewing techniques used to generate accurate and detailed eyewitness testimony for police investigations. As a researcher Ms Begum has acquired extensive knowledge of critically analysing existing research literature, designing complex experiments/studies and statistically analysing data. She has experience in conducting psychological assessments of parents involved in childcare proceedings including the administration of psychometric measures.
