Ms Chauhan is a BACP Registered Psychotherapist and Psychologist, who is employed as an associate for FPP Ltd. She has 10 years’ experience of delivering psychological assessments and psychotherapeutic interventions in the NHS, the private health care and the third sector. As an integrative practitioner, she has trained in a number of therapeutic modalities including: Humanist, CBT, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness. She has experience in offering psychotherapeutic interventions for a range of psychological health difficulties including: depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, the effects of trauma and abuse, low self-esteem, bereavement, substance misuse and domestic violence. In collaboration with the clients she works with, she adopts a model that suits their therapeutic needs. The premise of her therapeutic work involves building a therapeutic alliance in a safe space to explore the underlying concerns and to empower her clients towards effective change and an improved sense of wellbeing.
